Ah, bugger, poor thing.

Maybe take out your stress on a punching bag rather than a tub of icecream?

^_^

Oh well, chin up and remember I'm here to talk anytime, I'll PM you my email (can't remember if I gave it to you or not) so you can contact me anytime you need to chat.

Peace, Love and Lots of Cheese

Meanie boyfriend! ^_^

Yeah I did i'm like member 57 or something.
I have never tried the "dirt shake" things before and I figured it's free so why not. The truth is I'm hoping it will keep me full if I have one before work as I have breakfast at around 9, start at 11 and get lunch at 2 and by 12 or 1 i'm starving so I figure if they taste any good they might help with that.

Yay steamed dumplings! Try steamed pork (or chicken) buns which you can buy at any chineese or some japanese yumcha resteraunts or take away stores. Their steamed bread filled with bbq pork goodness. I'm not really sure if they're good diet wise but hey like you said better than maccas! ^_^

A Bento is a japaneese lunchbox, basically its usually a cute box with a couple or levels and all sorts of compartments filled with all sorts of goodies. Usualy rice, meat, vegitables, pickled stuff, fruit and treats. The main thing about Bento's is using creativity to design and set out the food so it looks apealing. I'm really getting into japaneese food and other asian food especially different rices and steamed pork buns. I can't make porked buns quite like the chinese do but :(

My Bento still hasn't arrived, but as soon as it does i'm going to start making some healthy lunches. ^_^

Went to gym on both Saturday and today so I'm starting to feel more motivated and energized, it's hard because of this huge lab report looming above my head but it's good to hit the gym for an hour or so and just forget about it.

I'm starting to get excited about losing weight and toning up, as well as just an increase in overall fitness and hopefully my neck and back fixing itself up. So yeah, things are looking good :) Lets hope they stay this way!

Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I seem to have put on more weight during the last week, I mainly blame my extreme lack of money (was living off $8 for a week) for my bad eating habits (bread and pb is cheaper than salad when your mum works at kraft), and of course grand final weekend which I spent at my boyfriends house gorging on all the nibblies and crap that they had lying around (with three boys there is always plenty of food).

Noone to blame but myself for my lack of gym-going, although I did go to my fitball class on Thurs so that's a good sign, I was planning on going to gym today but I got my second cervical cancer vaccine injection today and it hurrrts. Also an impending 3000 word lab report which made me freak out when I realised that it's due next week!!

Wish me luck, these kilos need shifting quickly!

Phew, I thought I was loosing you ^_^

Unfortunatly i've been limping for 2 days now, done something to a mussle in my hip (of all places) theres this weights machine the gym person told me to do and I think I pulled it or something. So she told me to cut that from my routine and take it easy, annoying thing is I hopped on the treadmill and I could feel myself jogging heavily on the other foot so I sighed heavily and stopped. I really don't want to hurt my other leg...Nardia (my gym trainer) says i'm being sensible, but poo no fair... :(

I don't think it's that bad but I have to be sure so I don't really hurt myself.

oh well at least I can do some stuff ^_^

catch you later,

Jess

Hi Fiona,

How is it going?

I've noticed your chart says you've gained 2kgs and I hope you're not loosing heart. I 'fell off the wagon' a little last week and ended up not going to the gym at all and I kept forgetting to fill my diary in. But I went back to the gym again and I felt great and silly for not going for so long. I even got up to a high speed running on the treadmill which i've never donr before.

What i'm trying to say is don't give up if you're finding it hard and if you have no one else to talk to about it i'm always here. Leave a message on my board or if you like Private message me and i'll send you my email. I think sometimes I might need someone to egg me on so stay on track with me and lets egg each other on!!

/corny rant

:)

Have fun now okay?

Hi Fiona,

I have the opposite problem I've found whenever I try to loose weight and eat healthy all I can think about is food! I've been trying really hard to make healthy choices and I've been filling in my 'calorie King' exersize and food diary every day, usually surprised that I have eaten around the right amount or just over.

I reccomend filling in a food diary if you're not already, the pocketsized calorie king one is at dymocks for 10 bucks or theres a free webite called Mikibo at: http://www.mikibo.com/ I used to use it but I found it too teadious. I also sugest you get some scales, I'ts so motivating to get on them a couple of times a week and to see you've lost that tiny bit. If you're gonna get some pick up some electronic ones they're very acurate! I think mine cost $40 or so at K-mart.

Anyway, thats all just in my experience.

I really hope you start seeing some results soon I'm rooting for you!!

-Jessica.
